Family Portraiture - Fort Mill, SC

Talk about a FAST photoshoot. Not really the amount of time spent was short, but that the running and keeping up I had to do. HA HA! Little man K is busy, B-U-S-Y! Honestly, it's exactly like my son, always on the run... always checking things out... curious... smart... amazing!
I put together a little collage of my favorites. They've seen the bulk of the pictures by now, but these just hit me. I adore you M family! Thank you for allowing me to come by and spend some time with you.

5 week old newborn photographer - Charlotte, NC

Ahhh.... Newborns! Precious but, my oh my, are they one of the hardest subjects for me. You have to have a lot of patience and a little more time than your typical family portraits. I had so many ideas, that I had a hard time actually implementing. There was one shot that I so badly wanted to get, but just could not execute. SO... to that... I have to say a HUGE thank you to my clients of this ADORABLE little babe for being so patient with me and working with me on all my funny little ideas!! Not to mention, I had no idea how late it was until I was in my car driving off. WOW! I hope your dinner plans weren't ruined by my poor timing! *I really need to get a watch!* ;)

Here's your sneak peek.

Charlotte Photography - 1st Birthday party!!

What a beautiful Labor day weekend! And what's even better, I had the pleasure of being the photographer for this fantastic 1st birthday party. The little birthday girl is absolutely adorable. I photographed her as a newborn and I just can't believe that a year has past already. The party was filled with love and fun with a big group of very sweet family members and I feel so blessed to have been invited to share in the celebration of such a sweet little girl. Thank you G family! Here's a little sneak peek.

*Look at that awesomely cute little initials cake in the bottom center... AWWWW! Made by Elizabeth of Cake Creations*

*It was so nice to have so many family members there. Lots of great memories captured ~ yay!*

*The first birthday cake... oh how fun! I think she really enjoyed every little bit that made it to her mouth (even if it wasn't much - hee hee). I LOOOOVE messy little cakey hands and faces --- cute, cute, cute!*

*And on top of all that, one of the family members just recently got engaged. Such a treat to get to take a couple cute photos of those two!*

And I just love the attitude in that middle right photo.

Thank you T family. I love you guys!

Busy Spring!

It has been a very busy Summer break so far! I'm enjoying every last bit of it as well! ;)

I've photographed a couple weddings, a bridal shoot, a very impromptu friends preggo belly, the kids on their birthdays and so on. This weekend we're heading to the beach, so I promise to have a few shots from there this year! ;) I am hoping to do another special very soon over these summer months - so stay tuned!

More of C & A - Just too cute!

We went to a new community that's being developed in Waxhaw for this shoot. They are really making it a pretty area. C & A are just so darn cute that I had to share a couple more of them.

She's starting to get her bottom teeth... can you see them?!! ;)

I just think this is cute...

And C just really did not want to have his picture taken:

But we got a couple smiles to break through! (hee hee) ;)

And this one... this is my favorite!!

And then we tried to get some shots of the two of them... and we told C to try to make A laugh so he did Peek-a-boo. My guess is about anything her brother did, she'd smile. ;)

Thank you again E & W for allowing me to take their photos.

More from the rehearsal dinner

The bride and groom's friends and family were so much fun! They were so easy to work with and just made it a great time for me. I wanted to show off a few more photos (ok... I have a lot to share) from the evening and just to say thank you one more time.

The whole family was so awesome! Lots of love going on! hee hee

The love and laughter- it was infectious!

I think this one is the sweetest!

Wedding - Rehearsal dinner - Kiawah Island, SC

I had the amazing opportunity of being at a rehearsal dinner for some casual, fun shots at the beach. The bride and groom were so sweet and nice. They chose Kiawah Island to get married and I'll tell you what - it was an AMAZING location! I wanted to throw a couple *sneak peeks* out here for them.

Thank you, E, for booking me and please let your family know how much I enjoyed my time with them. They all made it so easy on me - lookin' so good! ;)

During the actual rehearsal, the bride and groom watching the flower girls walk back.

Family & friends after the rehearsal.

During dinner I had the opportunity to take some shots of everyone at the beach. This is one of the flower girls.

Just a couple shots of the beautiful couple - seriously... Gorgeous couple!

I still have quite a few shots to get through, but I know they were excited about seeing these! ;)
